What does Anti-Theft do?
This part of the app detects when your phone has moved beyond a certain distance that you have set. For example, let's say you are out in a restaurant/bar etc. You can set the anti-theft to be active if the phone moves more than say, 100 metres from where you currently are. If that happens then:
Your phone can play the default ringtone,
Your phone can play a pre-recorded message from you, (Let the thief hear from you directly!)
Your phone can be automatically 'locked',
Or, you can disable all sound in order to use the phone finder portion of the app without notifying the thief of incoming messages.
Not just a pin on a map! eMail alerts (or SMS) will be sent to your account with the last known 20 locations of the device. These locations are sequentially marked (A,B,C...) in order for you to see the direction the device is headed. (We also supply the speed, altitude and other useful info).

PHONE FINDER
A 'command line' like interface via SMS allows you to remotely (i.e from another phone):
Get the exact location of your phone. Not just a pin on a map, but where the phone has been, and where it is going. We include the speed the device is traveling and the direction it is going in. (Easy to see if the device is in a car!)
Play the ringtone to help you find it
Capture audio remotely. You can instruct your phone to turn on the microphone and capture audio that will be emailed to you.
Take a picture remotely. Both cameras (if available) are used and the subsequent pictures are sent to you.
Get the call logs. Could be interesting in a theft scenario to find out who the thief has called.
Get the battery status. Is it charging? If so how? AC, USB? What is the current battery strength?
Remotely lock the device.
If you are convinced your phone is really gone or stolen, then you can WIPE it. This resets the phone to the factory settings. If you have sensitive data, then this is a must do!
And... with one SMS command, get everything! Location, Audio, Pictures, Battery all emailed to you.
The app even works if the phone is 'locked'.
The commands that you can use are: (We will use atp as the command prefix here. You can pick your own prefix).
atp login mypassword Identifies you to the app
atp audio Records 30 seconds of audio and emails it to you. Note: The format is a 3gp file which you can play using Windows Media Player.
atp battery Returns the current battery status (Shows whether the battery is charging, plugged in via AC, or USB)
atp calls Returns the call log. The last 10 calls (incoming/outgoing) are emailed to you. This can be very useful if the phone is stolen. Who did the thief call?
atp location Sends an eMail containg the last 20 known locations and the direction the phone is heading. Also, an SMS is sent back with the current location.
atp lock Locks the device immediately
atp logout Logs you out
atp picture Takes pictures from the front and back cameras and eMails them to you (You just might get a picture of the thief if the phone is stolen!)
atp status This one command will eMail you:
A 30 second Audio clip,The call logs,Pictures (front and back)Battery status and,The location
atp wipe mypassword IF you are convinced the phone is gone forever, then use the wipe command to reset the phone to its factory settings.
Note that you need to specify your password for this command to work. (It’s the same password that you used to login.)
